I live in the Denver- Metro area with my husband , 2 school-aged boys, a dog and a cat. I am a working mom so I understand, first-hand, the stress and challenges that come up as a working parent. I have also gone through my own medical challenges. These life experiences have shaped my approach as a therapist. I am solution-focused and believe we all have an active role in our mental health because nobody can change your life in an hour a week. Using insightful questions, I guide my talk therapy sessions to a place of growth. I often give no-pressure “homework assignments” (practicing a new skill, building awareness around a habit, journaling or reflection). I am trained in EMDR and utilize it often in sessions.
I received my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from New Mexico Highlands University in 2011. I've been practicing in CO since 2018.
