Anxiety Often Increases When Life Changes
Life transitions place real demands on the nervous system. Even positive changes — like becoming a parent, taking on more responsibility, or caring for others — can leave your body stuck in fight-or-flight.
Anxiety during these periods often shows up as:
constant worry or overthinking
irritability or emotional reactivity
difficulty sleeping or fully resting
GI symptoms such as stomach pain, nausea, or urgency
feeling overwhelmed by everyday demands
These are not signs that you’re failing — they’re signals from your nervous system that it’s overloaded.
I work with adult women who:
feel overwhelmed balancing parenting, relationships, and daily responsibilities
notice anxiety showing up physically, especially through GI symptoms or chronic tension
have tried therapy or coping strategies that no longer work
want depth, flexibility, and practical tools — not surface-level advice
value their time, their families, and their important relationships
Many of the women I work with are capable, thoughtful, and deeply invested in caring for others — but struggle to meet their own needs without guilt or anxiety.
Who I Work With
Anxiety Is a Whole-Body Experience
I approach anxiety differently. I don’t believe we can regulate anxiety by doing just one thing.
If you could think your way out of anxiety, breathe it away, or push through it — you would have already done that.
Anxiety lives in the mind, body, and nervous system, and that’s how I approach treatment.
Our work may include:
learning how to calm your heart and regulate your breath
helping your body fully rest and reset
improving sleep and reducing physical stress on the nervous system
understanding how habits like hydration, food, movement, and rest affect anxiety
building coping strategies using DBT skills
addressing thoughts, boundaries, and patterns that keep your needs unmet
exploring how your values, meaning, and spiritual health align with the life you’re living
I integrate EMDR when appropriate and can also incorporate neurofeedback for clients who want additional nervous system support — especially when the body feels “stuck.”
My style is flexible but intentional. Sessions are collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you handle emotions in a different way — one that actually works in real life.

Neurotherapy Add-On
If you’re seeing me for therapy, Neurofeedback is $150/month for unlimited access to training and headset rental. Each check in is $40. We do these biweekly. If you are interested in only doing neurotherapy, please see my other website: www.mindsyncneurotraining.com
I maintain a small number of insurance spots for established clients. However, my practice primarily operates on a private-pay basis.
I have made this decision intentionally so that I can provide care that is flexible, individualized, and focused on the whole person — not limited by insurance requirements.
